BROADCASTING
South Asian & Eastern European Community Radio
Broadcasting is the foundation of Radio Faza, an Ofcom-regulated South Asian & Eastern European community radio station based in Nottingham. Since 2002, Radio Faza has been at the heart of the community, pioneering the community radio initiative with passion, purpose, and responsibility. For over two decades, we have remained committed to representing diverse voices and creating a trusted platform where communities are heard, valued, and connected.
Our broadcasting journey is powered by people. Radio Faza proudly works with volunteers from different cultures, backgrounds, and faiths, many of whom start as complete beginners and grow into confident, professional broadcasters. Through structured training, live studio experience, and ongoing mentorship, volunteers develop broadcasting, presentation, and production skills while building a strong media portfolio that enhances their CVs and career opportunities.
Over the last 23 years, hundreds of radio presenters have been nurtured at Radio Faza, delivering services that inform, engage, and empower the community. Many have gone on to contribute professionally within media, communications, arts, and community sectors, carrying forward the values of inclusive and responsible broadcasting.
